NORMAL WAVES IN A POROUS LAYER WITH OPEN PORES ON ONE BOUNDARY AND CLOSED PORES ON THE OTHER

摘要

An isolated porous Biot layer with open pores on one boundary and closed pores on the other is considered. In this layer, normal waves are investigated and the dispersion curves are established for them. Particular attention is given to low-frequency and high-frequency waves. In the low-frequency range, a plate wave is unique in this layer. In the high-frequency range, the normal waves correspond to Rayleigh waves propagating along the free boundary of porous media. The velocity of the Rayleigh wave in the case of open pores is greater than the velocity of the Rayleigh wave in the case of closed pores. Bibliography: 6 titles.
