Abstract Eu~(3+)-Y~(3+) co-doping Ca_(0.54)Sr_(0.34-1.5x)Eu_(0.08)Y_x (MoO_4)_v(WO_4)_(1-y) (x = 0.01, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.10, 0.12, 0.14, 0.16, 0.18, 0.20. y = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0), have been prepared and their luminescent properties are investigated to seek a new red-emitting phosphor for ultraviolet-light emitting diodes chips. In absorption efficiency, luminescent intensity and chromaticity coordinates, Ca_(0.54)Sr_(0.22)(Mo0_4)_(0.2)(W0_4)_(0.8):0.08Eu~(3+), 0.08Y~(3+) phosphor is better than commercial Y_2O_2S:Eu~(3+) phosphor excited by 390-405 nm light emitting diodes chip.
