摘要

A number of seminars and conferences have been held recently that focus on data and data management, with many specifically having to do with geospatial data. Those of us who create, curate, manage, and disseminate data should be aware of the discussions and find ways to fold our voices and skills into ongoing efforts. Your editors were able to attend and participate in doing just that. One such conference was held in mid-May, 2012, at the Center for Library Initiatives Annual Conference, sponsored by the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) and hosted at the University of Minnesota campus.
