Map libraries and historical document collections, or archives, provide important and necessary primary and secondary information for court, governmental, and business decisions. The work of the Florida Division of State Lands on behalf of numerous clients is critically embedded in maps, treaties, permits, correspondence, and a host of other information sources that reside in map, archival, and other similar special collections.
