In today's economy, it is vital that employers maximize the efficiency of their recruiting efforts and that these efforts result in hiring employees who possess the necessary skills. This paper explores how recruiters can use currently administered personality tests to ensure they are acquiring talent needed to perform well in technology reliant occupations. The results, though mixed, show that by using currendy administered personality exams, in conjunction with the affinity for technology scale, managers can improve employee selection in technology-laden positions.
