The technical activities of 2005-06 focused mainly into the following categories, which were realized through the activities of the IASS Working Groups, Sub-Working Groups and Chapters: 1. Organizing special seminar, meeting or colloquium 2. Participating in Colloquia or Conferences 3. Preparation for special technical publications 4. Issuing newsletters 5. creating and maintaining web sites 6. Updating recommendations or state-of-the-art reports, which may be published in the IASS Journal 7. Publication of special issues of the IASS journal 8. Forming research groups.
