On September 19-22, 2006 in Kiev, the Vth International Conference on "Metalwork in Civil Engineering: State-of-the Art and Perspectives," organized by OJSC V. Shimanovsky UkrRDIsteelconstruction has taken place. The Conference was co-sponsored by the IASS and supported by "the Ministry of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine; National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Kiev Town State Administration; Academy of Civil Engineering of Ukraine; Corporation "Ukrmontazhspetsbud" and other governmental and public organizations.
