This research examined ASUS and Quanta Computer as cases study, and analyzed how the company selects an appropriate business strategy or model, according to the features of its product system structure. In particular, what types of transaction relationships exist between companies to gain competitive advantages in industrial value chains, product developments, and component procurement activities? Moreover, what is the state of such relationship between businesses?
