From this review of reported design, construction details, and performance results for the Waltham Cross, Guilford Bypass, and Ngauranga walls, the discussers conclude the following: 1.The three MSE walls, all constructed outside the United States and more than 20 years ago, represent special cases in thernmethods used for their construction compared to routine MSEW construction practice.rn2.The authors lump the results of these steel-strip MSEWs in their database with other steel-strip walls without noting the special features and whether their inclusion is appropriate for the evaluations they are reporting.
