The reconstruction of the collapses of the New York World Trade Center (WTC) buildings by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is among the most comprehensively documented reconstructions of building disasters in history. The 45 reports comprise over 10,000 pages of description of the approaches, data, computations, uncertainties, findings, and recommendations.
