A Brief Analysis of Farm Forestry Policy in Australia

Forestry is being redefined to meet a broad range of economic, environmental, and social expectations in many countries, including Australia. A notable fea- ture of this process is the increasing importance of farm forestry development in government policy and programs. However, farm forestry is still in its infancy in Australia, and there has been little analysis to date of the implica- tions of the federal and state governments' current policy.
