摘要

This paper presents a simplified mathematical model for daily economic operation of radial distribution feeders having distributed generation "DG" and voltage regulators "VR". In the developed model, simplified load flow equations have been derived in terms of bus voltage magnitudes and power flow on feeder sections excluding bus voltage angles. The control parameters to be optimized are the active and reactive powers of the DG units, active and reactive powers purchased from the grid, on load tap changer setting of the substation transformers, if any, and tapping of VR's. The model satisfies all physical, technical and limit constraint imposed on the feeder and control devices. Model verification has been made using a 31 -bus radial feeder.
