In Thailand, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. established the Matsushita Electric AVC (Thailand) in June 1998. Other companies in the complex include National Thai Co., Ltd., Matsushita Electronic Components (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Matsushita Communication Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. National Thai is in charge of investment in subsidiary companies and also supplies indirect office support. Matsushita Electronic Components produces components and Matsushita Communication Industrial manufactures car audio sets.
