Canon intends to counter competition in data projector market by offering its customers a greater choice of installation options. Its new projectors come with a "Flex Zoom Lens" function that lets users select the appropriate distance between the projector and screen. Canon used its proven optical system technology to create a function that gives it a competitive edge.
