Yamaha Corp. emphasizes video systems as well as its well- known sound systems. The company has made home theater systems part of its core business as its supplies multi-channel audio products to the global market. With the addition of video products to its dominant lineup of audio products, Yamaha has created entertainment systems that now make it possible to enjoy both audio and video. Yamaha has already introduced home theater projectors to market that benefit from the company's vast expertise and confidence in sound. Yamaha is producing its projectors with the same eye to quality and performance that we have seen with its audio products. Yamaha recently introduced the DPX-1000, a successor to the DPX-1, its first projector model. The DPX-1000 is the company's third projector model and follows in the footstep of the LPX-500, which was rolled out to global markets in March. Yamaha believes this model will serve as a centerpiece of total home theater systems all around the world.
