Exhibitors Show Spread of Digital Imaging Into New Applications

The 2002 International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment attracted 217 exhibitors and 18,638 visitors. The exhibition, sponsored by the Council of Image Technology and Equipment of Japan, took place from December 4 to 6 in Yokohama. This was the 24th staging of the exhibition, the theme of which was "Image Processing Technology." Exhibits were divided into five categories―light sources, input and measuring equipment, image processing equipment, displays, and image memory and recording devices. Other varieties of image-related equipment were also on show.
