Along with Sony Corporation's growth as a company is the expansion of its digital still camera (DSC) business. The company produced 10 million units in 2003 meeting initial expectations. For the current year, it is predicting a 50 percent increment to 15 million units. Much of the growth can be attributed to the outstanding sales of DSC-T1 "Cybershot" particularly in Japan, America and Europe, said Shigeki Ishizuka, President, Personal Imaging Company, IT & Mobile Solutions Network Company of Sony Corporation.
