Presentation tools with superb definition, as well as those with wide screens and wireless functions, were among products at lnfoComm04, one of the largest exhibitions for business-use audio-video presentation tools. The organizer is the International Communications Industries Association, Inc. (ICIA) This year's show, which took place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, the United States, attracted 647 exhibitors, up from 561 in 2003. The show ran from June 9 to 11. focusing on the theme of "The Accelerating Convergence of AV and IT," or the convergence of audio-video (A/V) and information technology. Streaming media and digital media workflow have growing relevance to projection systems. Their applicability was evident at InfoComm 2004, which set up a special pavilion for streaming media. Judging from the other topics at InfoComm this year, projectors trends also cover Webcasts, distance learning, and digital video production.
