Panasonic Extends 3-CCD System to Small Deluxe Camcorders

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (Panasonic) has recently launched the company's 2005 camcorder models equipped with three-CCD camera systems. Panasonic puts these models at center stage for the clarity of the pictures they capture, compactness of dimensions and their ease of use. Since 2002, Panasonic has focused on small and light camcorders that are especially user-friendly. These camcorders, which are selling well worldwide, play quite an important role in increasing the company's global share in the market to a percentage in the mid-twenties, up from less than 20 percent.
