Sony Corp. has brought out the Walkman S200 Series of portable digital music players. Each player in the Walkman S200 Series features drip-proof construction with resistance against sweat and splashes. The main body of each unit is made of aluminum. Each player features a slim and cylindrical design and weighs about 26g. The devices enable users to listen to music as they, for example, exercise at gyms and do normal daily activities. Each player features diverse sports functions, such as a counter function that measures calorie consumption, number of steps and distances. Units also incorporate stopwatch functions. The sport mode enables the user to set a target figure for calorie consumption, time or distance. When the target value is reached, music automatically stops.
