Through efforts over 30 years, Sony Corp. has established a proven track record in the Chinese broadcast market. The Chinese broadcast industry is undergoing major changes, including the shift to high-definition (HD), digital and information technologies. Against this backdrop, at BIRTV 2007, Sony used the theme "Your Partner, Today & Future" as it exhibited one lineup of products for current operations and another for the future of broadcast technology.rnDuring the Chinese broadcast industry's transition, Sony has received nearly all orders from major broadcast stations for HD outside broadcasting vans, demand for which has been increasing. Sony also had had good sales results for HD cameras and HD recorders.
