Panasonic Pushes Large-screen, Thin Pdps In Middle East

At GITEX Technology Week 2008, Panasonic Corp. highlighted its flat-panel TVs and technologies, especially NeoPDP advanced plasma display panel (PDP) technology. Other products exhibited by the company ranged widely from digital cameras, camcorders, and white goods, to business equipment, such as security systems. Through these exhibits, Panasonic showcased its technological expertise and product power, which it promotes in the Middle East and around the world. Attracting particular attention were Panasonic's 150V-inch PDP TV and an ultra-thin PDP TV with a thickness of 24.7mm. Both feature NeoPDP technology. Through NeoPDP technology, Panasonic products deliver high luminance efficiency. NeoPDP technology also enables practical production of large-screen PDP panels and ultra-thin PDP panels that consume less power than comparable products and deliver high quality pictures.
