In an increasingly diversified market for digital audio products and home theater equipment, Yamaha Corp. has moved forward with a strategy based on five product categories. While the overall market conditions are difficult, Yamaha has been successful in producing good results in each product area. In a recent interview, Masao Kondo, Executive Officer and General Manager, AV Products Division of Yamaha, described the company's current status and future efforts.
