Hitachi Limited has introduced the DZ-BD10H Blu-ray digital camcorder, which features various functions, such as a 7-million pixel CMOS sensor, a 10× optical zoom lens with optical hand shake correction function, among others. It can record full 1920 × 1080 full high-definition (HD) images through the company's Picture Master Full HD processor. By generating image information samples of 2,880 × 1,620 pixels, which is 2.5 times that of full-HD, recording of high resolution and high sensitive images are attained. Aside from the built in hard disc drive (HDD), 8cm Blu-ray drive and DVD drive, the camcorder also has an SD card slot, making the product compatible with four kinds of media. Its 30GB HDD enables recording of about 4 hours and 20 minutes of full HD image quality. If the HDD and SD memory card become full, it can be dubbed in the 8cm Blu-ray drive. The DZ-BD10H is priced at around ￥160,000 (US$1,455).
