SINOCES '08 Plays Up Seamless Connection Technologies

Consumers in China may push the consumer electronics market in China to more than US$100 billion by 2009. That forecast comes from the U.S. Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), which joined China's Ministry of Commerce and other Chinese agencies to co-sponsor the 2008 China International Consumer Electronics Show (SINOCES 2008) in Qingdao, China. Other sponsors for the event, which took place July 10 to 13, were China's Ministry of Information Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Shandong Provincial People's Government of the People's Republic of China. SINOCES this year focused on the themes of "Connecting Anything" and "3C Convergence and Seamless Life." More than 61,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors gathered for the event in the Qingdao International Convention Center in Shandong, China.
