InterBEE Focuses on Tools for HD, Digital Environments

The Japanese broadcasting industry is set to terminate analog broadcasting and complete the transition to digital broadcasting by 2011. Broadcasters are thus engaged in step-by-step efforts to build digital and high-definition (HD) capabilities. Meanwhile, broadcast equipment manufacturers are already developing products for post-digital terrestrial broadcasting. These trends were evident at the International Broadcasting Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE) 2007 held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan, at the end of last year.
