Digital, HD Technologies Draw Record Numbers to InterBEE

With digital broadcasting widely established in Japan, it was little wonder that exhibitors at the 2007 International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE 2007) emphasized broadcast equipment that supports digital and high-definition (HD) technologies, as well as products that deliver non-linear and tapeless workflow, where hard discs and semiconductor memories are used in the place of tapes. InterBEE 2007 was the largest InterBEE ever, attracting 754 companies and 34,637 visitors. The event took place from November 20 to 22 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
