Panasonic Makes Wave with Low-Cost AVCCAM Camcorder

Panasonic Corporation has introduced an addition of its AVCCAM camcorder family, which comes with a more compact, lighter, and multifunctional handheld camcorder. The AG-HMC40 is packed with full high-definition (HD) 3MOS imagers, high-resolution 10.6-million pixel still photo capture, 12× optical zoom, and high-quali-rnty, solid-state AVCHD recording on widely-available SD cards.
