Sony's Master Monitor Suits Broad Functions

Released as a follow up to the BVM-L Series LCD master monitor for image evaluation of broadcast and video production, Sony Corp. is set to introduce in March the BVM-L170 monitor, which comes equipped with the industry's first 17-inch full-HD 10-bit LCD panel. Expected to retail at about ￥1.05 million (US$ 10,500), the new product employs Sony's unique Trimaster technology to enable accurate color reproduction, precise imaging, and high level of picture consistency.
