Valens Semiconductor Leans on Strengths of HDBaseT

HDBaseT is a technology that transmits a wide variety of signals through standard Ethernet cables. Valens Semiconductor Ltd., an Israeli fabless semiconductor manufacturer, is one of the core members of the HDBaseT Alliance, which was formed to promote and commercialize the HDBaseT technology. Valens Semiconductor designs HDBaseT-compliant semiconductor chips for reception and transmission. The company started the sale of these chips in January 2010. In this interview with JEI, Dror Jerushalmi, Chief Executive Officer of Valens Semiconductor, talked about the HDBaseT technology.
