Fujitsu Makes Way for On-Demand IaaS Cloud Service

Fujitsu Limited has made available the Infrastructure as a Service (laaS) in Japan, which will enable customers to make use of servers and other information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure across a network on an on-demand basis. The laaS public cloud service delivers bundled virtualized ICT infrastructure from Fujitsu's datacenters, providing resources on a metered-use billing system based on customer usage. For business processes such as end-of-the-month accounting and unscheduled system development, in which reliability and scalability are essential, the service allows the use of low-cost ICT system resources on as-needed, when-need- ed basis, without the need of having to build individual ICT systems.
