Panasonic Corp. realigned in July its global procurement and logistics units into a new structure in order to enhance procurement based on a strategic location, and to obtain optimal logistics materials through the company's global network.rnThe logistics units were concentrated at the Corporate Global Logistics Division to take advantage of Panasonic Group's international procurement functionality, which straddles several regions. The aim of which is to come up with a company-wide logistics solution.
