Mobile devices are seen as highly promising potential applications for fuel cells. Toshiba Corp., Hitachi Limited, and NEC Corp. are each developing fuel cell power sources for notebook computers. KDDI Corp, meanwhile, has in development a fuel cell power source for mobile phones.rnHowever, compared with automotive or building applications, little progress has been seen in the practical use of fuels cells in mo-rnbile products.
