AIST Works to Cut Costs, Tap Full Potential of Solar Cells

The Research Center for Photovoltaics, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), is a hub for research and development activities related to photovoltaics (PV). The center's work has ranged from research into materials and devices, to the development of solar cell standards, to the crafting of improved PV systems. Six teams have been established to promote research and development.
