The Intelligent Machinery (IM) Operations of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. bolsters its surface-mount technology (SMT) machine business by promoting the latest YS Series in 2010. Together with Assembleon, a Netherlands-based wholly-owned subsidiary of Philips Electronics N.V., Yamaha Motor markets the product as the MC Series on an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) basis.
