Makers Exploit Future Demand for Novel Lighting Systems

The Salon Internazionale del Mobile, popularly known as Milano Salone, is an international trade show of furniture and design, took place from April 12 to 17 in Milan, Italy. It was concurrently held with the concept exhibition Fuori Salone, and the biennial Euroluce, an international event for lighting and design. These three exhibitions attracted 2,775 exhibitors with about 300,000 visitors. Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd., Kaneka Corporation, and Verbatim Limited, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, took part in the event.
