Panasonic Taps DVCPRO HD Format for 2012 London Games

As an official partner in the Audio and Visual Equipment category for the forthcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London, Panasonic Corporation announced that its DVCPRO HD will be the official recording format for capturing the quadrennial games. Olympic Broadcasting Services London (OBSL), the Host Broadcaster, will also use the P2 HD Series with solid-state memory cards for video recording equipment, including P2HD camcorder AJ-HPX3100 and P2 portable recorder AG-HPD24 to support the broadcast of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
