Print Makers Tap Huge Potentials of China, Asia

The industry of copying machines and multifunction printers (MFPs) and peripherals have started restoring its lost ground as shipments make gradual recovery following the recent global economic slump. Driving the growth in particular is the expansion of demand in the Asian market, particularly China. Aside from the economic recovery of the European and U.S. markets, the rapid expansion of emerging markets, such as China and other countries in Asia, global shipments increased 60 percent year-on-year. In 2009, shipments fell dramatically compared to the previous year as a repercussion of the global financial crisis. In 2010, however, the industry recovered rapidly.
