Outsourcing Technical Communication: Issues, Policies and Practices

This book clearly responds to an evident crisis in contemporary U.S. technical communication practice and education, and its relevance is largely limited to that country. Nonetheless, the book does raise important issues about the relationship between economy, communication, and technical production, but more particularly the unique relationship between the latter two. It provides some considerations, largely practical, but its longer-term impact may have been enhanced by widening its theoretical scope.
