摘要

In many ways, this issue celebrates the 40 years of JTWC's existence. Founded in 1971 by Jay R. Gould of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the journal established itself from the beginning as a scholarly outlet dedicated to exploring the depth and breadth of technical communication-both in its academic environment and in its professional practitioner environment-while constantly seeking opportunities to extend the boundaries of our discipline into auxiliary fields.
