摘要

In addition to the special section on digital library and digital curation education, guest edited by Jeffrey Pomerantz, this issue includes one research article, one review article, and two brief communications. Taken together, these articles all focus on the common theme of growing the LIS curriculum. Each elaborates on a way the LIS curriculum can be expanded or enhanced to include certain topics or skills: empathic social interaction, elevator speech development, and service learning for community engagement.
