In addition to the special section on digital library and digital curation education, guest edited by Jeffrey Pomerantz, this issue includes the JELIS 2010 Satisfaction Survey and three research articles. The JELIS 2010 Satisfaction Survey, by Sung Jae Park and Janet L. Capps, indicates that JELIS is moving in a positive direction. This was the second annual JELIS Satisfaction Survey, and part of a longitudinal research design. The third annual survey will be deployed early in January 2011 and we encourage each of our readers to complete it during one of your regular visits to our website (http://jelis.org).
