This edition of the journal marks some significant milestones in the history of the JELIS and of ALISE, its parent body. In January 2015, with edition 56(1), we are taking JELIS online. The current edition is our last in paper. Much of my work over the last six months has involved working with our publisher, Destech, to develop and design both the new online submission process, and the look and feel of the online journal. This is definitely a work in progress and we are full steam ahead to get everything ready for the changeover. Subscribers will get more information about how to access the online journal during the subscription renewal process.
