摘要

Single crystalks of the aluminum tungstate-scandium tungstate solid soluiton were grown by the modified Czochraslki (CZ) mehtod. The crystals obtained were transparent and hsown to have satisfactory qualtiy by polarizing microsocpe observations. The single crystals were demosntrated to contain both Al and Sc elements by electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) measurements and the Al:Sc trivalent cation ratio in the solid solution was precisely determined to be 8.5:1.5 from the lattice parameters obtained by the X-ray powder diffraciton analysis.
