摘要

The strucutral properties of a boule of bulk cadmum telluride grown at the relativley low temeprautre of 700 deg C by a novel "multi-tube" vapour gro0wth technqieu have been profiled in the growth direction by triple axis X-rkay diffraction, defect revealing etching and photoluminescence. Considerable improvemetn in qualtiy, as evidenced by a reducion in etch pit density and photoluminescence and X-ray liewidths, is obseerved through the boule.
