Construction Congress V identified critical issues facing the construction industry in the coming millennium. By all accounts, the 138 papers and nine plenary session speakers in- formed participants that now more than ever, construction is a global enterprise. The congress, held Oct. 5-7, 1997, in Min- Neapolis, was sponsored by the construction Division of the American Society of Civil En- Gineers.
