摘要

The system that was developed and presented in the original paper was a prototype. As such, it has limitations and some room for improvement. Great care was taken to make sure that these limitations were clearly stated in the paper. The discussers are clearly quite familiar with GIS and think that the readers deserve more detail about a number of issues mostly related to Arc View implementation. Here are these clarifications: The discussers think that the tools/commands used in generating the 2D themes were not clearly mentioned. However, there are no special commands used in AutoCAD when generating 2D themes. Any user proficient in AutoCAD can generate 2D themes without any difficulty.
