Aggregation of Input Variables by the method of Successive Substitutions of Reference Elements

A version of the problem of combined aggregation is considered when, for a certain system, there exists a mathematical model given by a normalized function of a large number of variables. A method of successive substitutions of reference elements of the system is proposed for constructing an adequate model of a lower dimension (an aggregated model). Aggregated models of multiplicative and additive types are constructed on the basis of this method.
