Theoretical analysis of the capabilities of information support of a low-altitude flight using a nun-range radar station and a laser location system with a radiation wavelength of 1.54 μm is carried out. For simple meteorological conditions, the advantages of the laser location system both from the point of view of minimization of the safe flight altitude and the probability of detection of various obstacles, including objects of the type of cables, bracings, wires, and so on, are demonstrated. The results of simulation and experimental investigations on detection of cables using the laser locator are presented.
