摘要

This paper proposes the designs of all optical logic gates OR, AND, NOR, NOT, and XOR at ultra-high speed of 160 Gb/s by enhancing the phase modulation in SOA-MZI structure with the help of OOK modulation scheme. The simulations of all photonic logic gates are carried out to realize simulative optimization of SOA-MZI structure at 160 Gb/s. The photonic OR, AND, NOR, NOT, and XOR logics are implemented for the first time at this ultrafast high speed of 160 Gb/s by means of single wavelength using proposed SOA-MZI configurations. Thus, realization of these photonic logics at 160 Gb/s will enhance the future photonic signal processing applications to support high-speed operation.
